California
Art Education: I am in my senior year at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, working on my BFA in drawing and painting.
Style: My style varies, but I tend to prefer contemporary realism and expressionism.
Creative Spark: Lately I have been very inspired by social commentary, especially given current events.
Second-Choice Career: I would want to be involved in the arts, potentially working in a museum or gallery. I am also open to a career in digital art.
Other Passions: Art history and the great outdoors. I have missed going camping during lockdown.
One Thing People Don’t Know About You: I am a bit of a gearhead. I really like cars and know my way around an engine bay better than most men I know. I have five years of experience running auto-repair facilities.
Best Advice Received: Trust your gut and your inspirations. Don’t be afraid to experiment.
Biggest Fear: Paying back my student loans.
Quirkiest Trait: My obsession with art history.
Favorite Studio Music: Everything from ’90s music and rock to hip-hop and classical. I just shuffle everything on my Spotify and let it run.
Future Goals: I would love to be able to completely support myself with my art, either through sales of original paintings or doing digital work.
Price Range: $100 to $1,500.
