Utah
Art Education: Bachelor’s degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design. I am currently apprenticing under master artist William Whitaker.
Style: Soft and moody realism.
Creative Spark: Blustery, cold, cloudy days. My favorite stories always begin with a brewing storm.
Second-Choice Career: A poet and writer of young-adult fiction. For me, writing is painting with words.
Other Passions: I love to read, write, bicycle, and travel. I also like baking tasty treats to cheer people up and taking luxurious four-hour Sunday naps.
One Thing People Don’t Know About You: I’m a huge science-fiction and fantasy nerd. My favorite book is Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. I long to be Doctor Who’s companion. When the first installment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy came out on DVD, I memorized it and baked my own lembas bread.
Biggest Fear: Losing my loved ones.
Pet Peeve: Spelling and grammatical errors.
Quirkiest Trait: I have a family history of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and I cannot focus on my art until my mind is clear of everything else that must be accomplished for the day.
Mantra or Motto: To keep God first in all that I do and to make the most of the time I have each day.
Future Goals: To travel the world and paint during my adventures.
Price Range: $300 to $5,000.
