From: Texas.
Art Education: Mostly classes in high school and learning from my peers. I have attended two workshops in the last few years and hope to take more. I am currently in summer classes at the Art Students League of New York.
Style: I interpret scenes of everyday life through my own personal lens with creative color choices and compositions.
Creative Spark: Seeing subjects that have character, movement, color, and shape. Many times this includes manmade structures such as boats and houses.
Second-Choice Career: I am a financial analyst, and I see my two career choices as equal and compatible with each other.
Other Passions: Running, biking, cooking, and drinking lots of coffee.
One Thing People Don’t Know About You: I have five siblings.
Best Advice Received: Don’t worry about what other people say about my work and pursue what makes me happy.
Biggest Fear: Losing my spark and not continuing to improve and develop my style.
Pet Peeve: When oil paint dries too fast, both on my paintings and on my palette.
Favorite Studio Music: Dermot Kennedy. His songs inspire my paintings.
Favorite Work by Another Artist: THE LADY OF SHALOTT by John William Waterhouse.
Future Goals: To make my work more well-known, and to make an impact on others with my work.
Price Range: $200 to $900.
