Art Education: Bachelor of Science in visualization from Texas A&M University. I have pursued studies in the fine arts all my life and continually seek opportunities to further my education.

Style: Representational with abstracted color and form.

Creative Spark: Nothing motivates me more than traveling and hiking through the southwestern landscape. I usually return from my adventures with more ideas than I can tackle and spend copious amounts of time in the studio working them out on canvas.

Second-Choice Career: Park ranger.

Other Passions: I love to travel to national parks, and I hope to visit all of them someday. So far I’ve seen 13. Also, I have an ever-growing collection of succulents and cacti. I love to make fresh pasta and practice yoga.

One Thing People Don’t Know About You: I have two cats named after famous painters: Claude Monet and Georgia O’Keeffe.

Best Advice Received: Never stop learning.

Biggest Fear: I have a terrible fear of heights. I work on conquering it every time I go hiking in places like Zion National Park or Grand Canyon National Park.

Quirkiest Trait: I have an unhealthy obsession with cheese.

Mantra or Motto: Do it with passion or not at all.

Favorite Studio Music: Billy Joel, George Strait, and John Denver.

Favorite Work by Another Artist: Claude Monet’s WATER LILIES at the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris.

Future Goals: Travel more and discover new places to paint.

Price Range: $300 to $2,600.
