Yellow Roses by Robert Spooner
Congratulations to Colorado-based Robert Spooner, who took home the Gold Medal Award for his painting Yellow Roses at the annual Oil Painters of America’s Western Regional Exhibition & Sale held recently at Mountain Trails Gallery in Jackson, WY. Santa Fe oil and pastel artist Albert Handell judged the awards and made the announcement on opening night, October 9. Other top honors went to Ying Liu, John Pototschnik, Joseph Iantorno, Barbara Jones, Jill Hartley, and Greg Scheibel. The show is on view at the gallery through November 10. –Bonnie Gangelhoff
