ART EDUCATION: Bachelor of fine arts from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. I’ve also studied with Carolyn Meyer and Craig Nelson.
STYLE: I paint traditionally. I do use a few elements to make it more contemporary, like brighter colors and more interesting compositions.
MOST INTERESTING THING ABOUT THE WAY YOU WORK: I paint things I love—places and people.
SECOND-CHOICE CAREER: I would have to do something creative, like graphic or interior design.
BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: If you work hard, you can do anything.
