Easton, MD | The seventh annual Plein Air Easton! Competition & Arts Festival takes place July 18-24. More than 50 juried artists, including Roger Dale Brown, Greg LaRock, Hodges Soileau, and Bryan Mark Taylor, compete to win over $11,000 in cash prizes. Last year’s winners include Ned Mueller, Gavin Brooks, Debra Huse, Camille Przewodek, and Jeanette Le Grue, whose painting MAGIC HAPPENS, shown here, won third place. A collector’s preview party takes place on Friday, July 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Academy Art Museum, giving collectors a chance to buy newly created artworks. On Saturday, July 23, a Quick Draw takes place from 12 to 2 p.m. in downtown Easton, where the artists paint en plein air.
