Orleans, MA | Last year a group of local and international artists converged in France to paint. The works created from their trip are on display this month at Addison Art Gallery. “These artists have continued a heritage of American painters who traveled to France for inspiration, and their creations are exceptional examples of the insights found when artists live and work together. It is a true joy to present such a diverse show full of integrity and tradition,” says the gallery’s owner, Helen Addison. Among the participating artists are Karla Bartholomew, Karen Cope, Lynn Gertenbach, Cate Hunter Kashem, Julie Snyder, and Laura Wambsgans.
