“The treasures of my life as a painter have been finding places with the sound of a running creek or a breeze causing the trees to dance.”

Nancy’s art career has been influenced by ranching in the Nueces Canyon of Texas and now a mountain house in the Flathead Valley of Montana. Her paintings reflect her love of light, space, and quiet in these beautiful places.

At a young age she won a full scholarship to the school at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. From there she went on to achieve a BFA from Randolph-Macon College in painting and art history. She has been a teacher, book illustrator, and a show juror with more than 20 shows and group shows.

A list of collectors include Exxon, Conoco, BNSF, Toyota, Baker Hughes, Northwest Mutual Life, Chicago, Texas Commerce Banks (J.P. Morgan Chase) throughout Texas and Louisiana, Methodist Hospitals, Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Vinson and Elkins, as well as numerous private collections.

She has been listed in Who’s Who of American Art every year since 2002. A full-color catalog of Nancy’s art and biography has just been released by the publisher and is available to art professionals upon request. For more information, visit her website Nancyrconrad.com.
