Scottsdale, AZ | A two-person show featuring works by Bruce Cody and Roberto Cardinale opens this month at Duley-Jones Gallery. “My primary objective is to paint places in the West that are part of what I term ‘The American Experience,’” says Cody, whose oil paintings focus on the disappearing charm of small towns. Roberto Cardinale, formerly a Benedictine monk, painstakingly re-creates mixed-media, three-dimensional missions and churches from around the world. The show, titled The Art of Place, kicks off with an artists’ reception on Thursday, January 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. and runs through February 9. For more information: 480.945.8475 or www.duleyjones.com.
