Florida still-life, figurative, and landscape painter
Art Education: I earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fine arts from Pensacola Christian College in Florida studying under artist and illustrator Brian Jekel.
Style: Whenever I paint, careful drawing and simple, expressive brush strokes are my goal. I think my work is a nice blend of representational art and impressionism with a love for modern aesthetics.
Creative Spark: People inspire me by who they are, how they act, and what they believe.
Second-Choice Career: If I couldn’t paint, I would cook. My friends rave about my cooking and baking.
Best Advice Received: People don’t become good painters overnight. You have to stick with it and paint, paint, paint.
Biggest Fear: To have to give up painting.
Future Goals: I would really like to pursue painting full time and enjoy my other interests in cooking, gardening, and design.
Price Range: $50 to $2,000.
