ART EDUCATION: Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in graphic design from Colorado Mountain College, Glenwood Springs, CO. Master’s degree candidate at the Laguna College of Art & Design, Laguna Beach, CA.
STYLE: Figurative representation. My background is in graphic design, so I often fuse a little of that into my paintings.

INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WINNING PAINTING: Someone I was close to passed away, and I found myself thinking about the quality of life we create for ourselves and how that relates to our interpretations of symbols and imagery.
SECOND-CHOICE CAREER: Interior decorator or art therapist.
BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: Follow your heart and a path will present itself.
CREATIVE SPARK: Traveling and shopping. I go antiquing to clear my head and gather inspiration.
ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU: I grew up surfing. I was on the surf team and had surfing physical education classes in the morning.
BIGGEST FEAR: Not being able to do what I love. Oh … and a world without margaritas.
FUTURE GOALS: To secure a position in which I can continue painting, and I’d love to live abroad.
