Art Education: I transferred from my tribal community college to the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe so I could pursue art. I am a senior earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio arts.

Style: Contemporary Native American impressionism. I have been greatly inspired by the French Impressionists.

Creative Spark: Inspiration for me often comes from my heritage, culture, and experiences.

Second-Choice Career: Definitely a curator.

Other Passions: Cuisine.

One Thing People Don’t Know About You: I am a vegetarian.

Best Advice Received: “Fear not what failure will bring, but what success will accomplish.”

Biggest Fear: Never realizing my full potential.

Pet Peeve: I’m very particular, so there are too many to list.

Quirkiest Trait: The way I fold my clothes.

Mantra or Motto: You only have today to do the things you want, as yesterday’s past and tomorrow may never be.

Favorite Work by Another Artist: Winold Reiss and his series of Blackfeet portraits.

Future Goals: Future goals include graduating from IAIA and hopefully pursuing a master’s degree.
