Art Education: I currently receive training from my parents, Morgan Weistling and JoAnn Peralta, who are full-time, professional fine artists. I have also attended workshops and taken a class from Nathan Fowkes at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.

Style: The technical name is representational impressionistic realism, but my personal style of art evolves with each painting I do.

Creative Spark: I get the most inspired right after I see an amazing art show at a museum or gallery.

Second-Choice Career: Something to do with music: either a guitarist in a band or a film-score composer. I have a huge interest in acting, too, so maybe a theater actor.

Other Passions: Music, acting, film, European and American history, animation, and baking.

Best Advice Received: Draw as if you’re going to hand the drawing to a sculptor who needs to know the three-dimensional form of the subject.

Mantra or Motto: From the Bible: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Favorite Studio Music: My music taste ranges drastically. Lately I’ve been listening to Lana Del Rey, Phil Wickham, and My Chemical Romance while I work.

Favorite Work by Another Artist: Some of my favorite art is by Nicolai Fechin, Richard Schmid, Bernie Wrightson, and my parents.

Future Goals: I hope to travel abroad someday and visit Ireland and England. I’d love to teach classes and workshops in an art school as well.

Price Range: $800 to $3,500.
