Art Education: I attended the Angel Academy of Art in Florence for two years. I later graduated from the Florence Academy of Art.

Style: I typically paint in a realistic manner. However, my style of work ranges quite a lot within this category.

Creative Spark: My inspiration comes from museums, books, nature, friends, family, and colleges.

Other Passions: When I am not painting, I enjoy playing the ukulele and singing. I began playing the ukulele in Florence when I moved in with a Sicilian and a Texan who both played guitar. Inspired by them and wanting to join in, I bought a ukulele.

One Thing Most People Don’t Know About You: From the ages of 6 to 17, I raised monarch butterflies with my mother.

Mantra or Motto You Live By: Question everything.

Favorite Studio Music: When working I prefer not to listen to any music. I tend to get very absorbed in whatever it is I am doing, and music seems to distract me.

Favorite Work by Another Artist: THE MARTYRDOM OF SAINT BARTHOLOMEW by Jusepe de Ribera because it was the first painting I really, truly looked at. I went back to this piece many times to admire, study, sketch, and take notes.
