The Santa Fe International Folk Art Market is the largest international folk art market in the world, and our success led to Santa Fe’s designation as a UNESCO City of Folk Art. The Market hosts an annual festive, two-day event on Museum Hill in Santa Fe, New Mexico adjoining our renowned partner, the Museum of International Folk Art.

Zapata Ranch Painting Workshop: Landscape, Figure, Wildlife This February, Zapata Ranch will open it's doors for our first annual painting workshop. Led by Denver area-based and multi-award winning artist Lani Vlaanderen, this long weekend will be packed with 3 full days of instructional workshop where students will have the opportunity to paint from a live cowboy model, wildlife including bison, horses and cattle, as well as the unique San Luis Valley landscape. A great studio space is available for those not wanting to brave the elements and painting from photos is permitted. This is a great opportunity to gather reference from an actual working ranch and receive instruction on how to express your experience in paint.
