Because of my lifelong fascination with the face and figure, I never miss an opportunity to draw or paint from life. With my dancers and other action figures, I generally draw gestures and paint the final versions in my studio. I strive to capture not just the likeness of my subjects, but the more elusive qualities of spirit, mood and emotion, as well.
