Mary believes in painting what she knows and likes best. Much of her inspiration comes from the natural settings that surround her home. Her floral studies are an example of her love of singling out common objects and presenting them in a formal way. She does this through her control of the watermedia in which she works and her brillant use of color and composition.Her media and style is featured in her recently published book,"WATERCOLOR IN BLOOM",published by North Light Books.
