Throughout history, there has never been a shortage of talented female artists. Yet, it’s no secret that their creative prowess and skills have been repeatedly underrepresented and even entirely overlooked due to gender discrimination. Sadly, those thought patterns continued for centuries before the fine art landscape finally began to change in the 20th century. Gradually, as the world has cast off age-old gender biases, more and more women artists have begun to receive the recognition they’ve deserved for so long.
