STYLE: Traditional.

Savoring the Moment, oil, 16 x 12.

SECOND-CHOICE CAREER: If I couldn’t be an artist, I think architect would be the next best thing.

BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: Learn something new with every painting.

CREATIVE SPARK: Old objects with interesting histories, weathered architecture, and colorful skies.

ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU: A friend and I built a small sailboat from scratch. Eventually, I’d like to make one that I could sail to a tropical island.

FUTURE GOALS: To create art that lasts longer than I do.
