ART EDUCATION: Bachelor of communication arts with an emphasis in illustration from the Art Academy of Cincinnati in Ohio.
STYLE: Realism.
MOST INTERESTING THING ABOUT THE WAY YOU WORK: I don’t think there’s really anything very interesting about the way I work. To me it’s just problem-solving. I prefer to work from life when possible. That’s the best way to learn and continue to grow.
SECOND-CHOICE CAREER: I hope to someday own a lot of land and be a farmer.
BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: Someone once told me not to worry too much. That advice changed the way I live my life.
CREATIVE SPARK: Seeing what my artist friends are working on. I have a group of friends that are extremely talented, and they always inspire me to create more work.
ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU: Most people don’t know that I love gardening.
FUTURE GOALS: To make more work and to continue to grow artistically.
PRICE RANGE: $1,000 to $8,000.
